KC80-P
Waterproof Insulation Sealing Protective Pad
KC80-P is a Blanket-shaped patch consisting of an EPR back covered with a layer of butyl mastic for sealing. KC80-P is used to replace 3M 2230.
Application
lReconstitution of the characteristics of protected aerial cables (Spacer Network) voltage class up to 25 kV when making a straight splice or derivation in it;
lCable splices that require complete tightness;
lSplices of directly buried low voltage cables;
lInsulation of cables up to 0.6/1 kV,both in straight and split splices derivation,with total tightness;
lInsulation of non-insulated buses up to 0.6/1 kV;
lProtection of connectors and other metal parts against weather and action UV rays;
lSealing and isolating the secondary output of power transformers.
